Stakeholder engagement

Transurban works with a wide range of stakeholders that have a breadth of interests. Our ability to understand and respond to these interests can impact our reputation and, ultimately, our long-term success. We proactively engage with our customers, communities, government partners and other stakeholders on issues relating to our business and the operation of our roads. Our aim is to work with our stakeholders to manage impacts, and provide opportunities for collaboration and input on projects.

We also engage with the following industry groups, government entities and regulators as part of our day-to-day business.

  • Australian Federal Government Ministers
  • Virginian Department of Transportation

We engage with our customers on a daily basis through numerous channels including roadside signage, online communications and account management.
